Born in the Bronx New York, Owner and Operator Nicole Holden was raised to have a complex about her short, tightly coiled hair. At a young age she would get teased and picked on about her hair. This experience helped Nicole to develop a passion for hair, by use of relaxers, weaves, braids, or anything she could find that would mask the shame she carried for so many years.

As an adult, she moved to Baltimore, MD and became known for her constant hair changes. However, underneath the chemicals, wigs, and extensions, Nicole realized that years and years of chemicals and constant pulling on her hair caused damage to her scalp and natural hair. In 2014, Nicole decided to go back to natural and developed a chemical free lifestyle, by cutting off all of her chemically treated hair. For the first time ever, Nicole experience hair growth and health in ways she could never imagine. The only downside, was the amount of time, and money on products trying to style and stretch her tightly coiled hair.

In 2017, she decided that she no longer wanted to spend so much time on her hair, she wanted something that would keep her chemical free, while allowing her to no longer having to decided what to do with her hair. She decided to look into Sisterlocks™ and after having a consultation, she knew she was making the best hair decision of her life.

In 2018, not only was Nicole's Sisterlocks established, so was her passion to share this experience with other women. Not sure if she had what it would take to become a consultant, she knew that all she had was the desire for what God had placed in her heart. Working with what God gave her, His grace proved to be sufficient. God provided the finances, the time, and clients for Nicole to become a certified Sisterlocks™ consultant allowed Loc'd 'N Grace, to be a successful business with steady growth and the most wonderful clients imaginable.
